    What's New in ITC Publications

© International Trade Centre, International Trade Forum - Issue 4/2002

The new year brings a change in ITC's distribution and sales policies for publications and other information products (trade-related databases and CD-ROMs).

The last two years have seen rapid evolution in ITC's distribution policies. ITC extended its traditional distribution practices by selling its books through the UN Sales and Marketing Service, as well as through the WTO bookshop. Now ITC is launching an online publications site, to help meet increasing demand for its books and other products.

This change brings ITC in line with its parent bodies, UNCTAD and the World Trade Organization (WTO). Full prices for books and technical papers range from US$ 11 to US$ 70, plus shipping and handling. Customers in developing and transition countries benefit from a 60% discount, while those in developed countries pay full price. Free copies are available in limited numbers to official institutions only.

ITC's international trade bulletins continue to be distributed free (except the Market News Service).

Subscriptions to the Trade Forum magazine remain unchanged: the magazine is available free of charge to trade-related institutions and firms in developing countries and transition economies; subscribers in developed countries pay US$ 30 per year. The magazine is available free online.
